Motel 6-Carlsbad, CA Beach

You are walking distance to the beach 🏖️. And yes, there is plenty of space to walk your dog and they have the poop bags/trash cans to throw away and there is a Benihana Restaurant across the street and on Poinsettia Lane if you turn left I saw people coming back with grocery bags, so there much because plaza or grocery store near there that is walking distance from hotel 6, if you turn right from hotel 6 on Poinsettia Lane go over bridge you are going towards Coastal Highway 101 and then you are at beach.

The property was clean and super close to the stores and beach. This Motel 6 was simple and basic which I like if your staying a few nights. I had no problems with my stay. Inside the room there isn’t much just bathroom, bed and TV with cable :)…….so you know I put on back to the future #3 (channel 37) and ordered ramen down the street. highly recommend if your looking not to spend to much. Definitely bring your own blankets and pillow. If you want to sleep like royalty. They had some sheets but I’m high maintenance I like to sleep like a king. but I will come back :D p.s they had a vending machine so I got B4 (SunChips )

This is one of the best motel 6 locations I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to so many recently. Every staff member was so polite. You’re right next to the beach. They accommodated us from the beginning with a 1st floor room. Place was clean the manager actually walked the property as well. Security at night was nice.

Great location. Very busy area so prices were high but I guess usual for that area. Basic but overall clean ish. Just looked kind of old and some curtains need repair look like could be replaced. But good. We needed a place to put our heads and this was good. Wouldn’t stay here for long but it is good.
